Well, my Yuletide fic is sat written out longhand in my notepad, but type as fast as I could, I didn't make the deadline. I am an idiot. I have this fic present for my recipient, all plotted out and done, and I kind of like it, and now I won't be able to give them this present for christmas, because I can't do something as simple as observe a deadline. GAH!

I just signed up, and am now an odd combination of excited and terrified, but I understand that's par for the course with Yuletide. I'm almost willing to bet which fandom I'm going to get matched on that I've offered to write, because it's not an obscure fandom, it's *non-existent*. I'm getting such a buzz off the idea of creating something out of festive glee for a total stranger, and I really really do want to make it something they'll love.
