Huh, I do don't I? I keep spotting patterns in things when I reread them that I don't notice whilst writing. Like in Lion's Heart, the Sheriff seems to have turned waking Guy up, or interrupting him and Robin, into a hobby in a way that I didn't intend whilst plotting it out. Might be a good argument against the idea of authorial intent, I think.
