I did get some D/s undertones but in this part I hope you won't hate me for confessing that I saw a bit of Wrong here. Just from Jane's summertime trauma issues re: sudden physical touch. He is pliant with her (especially in Mashburn's yummy fantasies), but yeah. Here I got the sense--and she did too, apparently--that the touch was borderline Bad. "Meditatively" was a compelling way to phrase that; hiding the process in plain sight. I eat this stuff for LUNCH, man! It's delicious and goes wonderfully with iced tea!
