I really loved this and plan on both reccing it to my favorite beta and putting it in memories.
I loved Murphy pointing out what pretty much everybody in Chicago knows. And Thomas proving Harry's not entirely straight. I wonder what Hendricks thinks of Marcone's feelings for a trouble-magnet wizard?
I've really been appreciating Dresden/Marcone fic lately, because their recent canon interaction has been very short (Changes) and nonexistent (Turn Coat). I tend to agree this is maybe what happens when an author who's freaked out that people slash Harry and Marcone tries to tone down the whole banter as flirtation aspect of their relationship. Which annoys me, because although I don't read just for the Harry/Marcone by any stretch of the imagination, it definitely is one of the things that I hope for with each new installment.
