Redwall - I think I read them when I was younger too...
Like I said, I really don't know what I used to do on the net before... I mostly hung out in a writing community.
But it could be a bit cultural too. English is after all the first language in most fandoms, and if you're born in an non-english speaking country, it's a rockier road, and much more difficult to find that road, to the fandom world. There are really no fandoms in Swedish... Also, I think fandom and its related things, like slash, is much lesser known about among non-fandomers in Sweden.
No, unfortunately, I don't believe there are any chance of redemption for Guy after that finale! Not other than through death. I really don't think he will survive S3. But of course, Robin does kill him in the old ballad about them as well, so I suppose it's canon...
But I really really didn't like the finale, it didn't make any sense to me. Generally, I dread season finales, in them the writers tend to only see their characters as chess pawns to place out for the next season's moves, regardless of how the game has been played out so far. If that makes any sense... I mean that they think so much about the future plotlines that they forget the characters' pasts! It becomes ooc!
